Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – June 25, 2026 – The Ports Authority of the Turks and Caicos Islands (PATCI) proudly hosted its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, June 25, 2026. A highlight of the event was the Annual Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony, which celebrated the outstanding dedication, professionalism, and exceptional contributions of employees who continue to advance the Authority's mission and deliver excellence in service.
The Annual Awards recognize employees who exemplify the highest standards of professionalism, leadership, teamwork, and commitment to the Ports Authority's core values.
Director's Award
The Director's Award recognizes an administrative staff member who has demonstrated exceptional performance, professionalism, and dedication to the organization. Eligible nominees must have been employed full time for at least one year, not be on probation, and have maintained a disciplinary free record.

This year's recipient was Ms. Giselle Ambrister, in recognition of her outstanding leadership, diligence, and commitment in the execution of her duties and responsibilities, contributing significantly to the achievement of the Ports Authority's organizational goals.
Chairman's Award
The Chairman's Award recognizes a supervisor who consistently demonstrates exemplary leadership and operational excellence. Nominees are required to meet the same eligibility criteria of full-time employment, a minimum of one year's service, and a disciplinary free record.

The 2026 recipient was Mr. James Rigby, who was recognized for his exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to achieving organizational excellence.
Minister's Award
The Minister's Award is presented to the PATCI team members who best embodies the "I AM PATCI" culture. The recipient exemplifies professionalism, commitment to continuous learning, operational excellence, workplace safety, compliance with international maritime standards, teamwork, and unwavering dedication to the Authority's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
This prestigious award was presented to Mrs. Keva Garland-Forbes in recognition of her outstanding leadership, professionalism, and exemplary service to the Ports Authority.
